EVENT NEWS: Inaugural Offshoring South Africa Summit to be held at The Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town.

The Offshoring South Africa Summit, will take place between 31 October 2012 and 01 November 2012 at The Table Bay Hotel based at the V & A Waterfront.

This bespoke event will not only uncover why Cape Town is a strong contender as an outsourcing location but will also address how to collectively overcome outsourcing challenges faced on the international stage. 

Hosted by the BPeSA ( Business Process enabling South Africa ), the Summit will see both local and international leaders in the BPO space speak about the Outsourcing/Offshoring opportunities available in Cape Town.

Delegates:

• 30 global companies including UBS, Holiday Inn, PayPal, Nestle, Vodafone, Deutsche Telecom, Barclays as well as global BPO’s Capgemini, Wipro and Mahindra Satyam will be in attendance.

• 70 local delegates made up of  leading service providers including Amazon, Shell, T-Mobile, Capita, Serco, Teleperformance, Merchants, Aegis as well as key government officials from the Provincial Government, City of Cape Town, dti, Wesgro will also be in attendance.

Cape Gate Vanderbijlpark - 50th Birthday Celebration Johannesburg

We had the privilege of being an integral part of Cape Gate Vanderbijlparks' 50th Birthday Celebrations held at the Riviera on Vaal Hotel on 02 August 2012.

All enjoyed the festive atmosphere at the Hotel as Cape Gate Staff and Management welcomed their Guests and families to be part of the celebrations.

13 x 28 Seater Luxury Coaches were utilized to successfully shuttle the Guests on day.

On arrival at the Hotel with our Operations Team and Coach Drivers at 04h30 ( in the morning ), we experienced temperatures at - 9 degrees, with the cold seeking to freeze the proceedings on the day. By 05h00 we were in position and ready for what the day was going to bring us!

TOP GEAR: Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban - Shuttle Transfer Service

TOP GEAR: The infamous British Car enthusiast show came to Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban to showcase their humour and death defying stunts.

We had the privilege of providing a shuttle service, by utilizing 5 x 17 Seater Luxury Sprinters for the Gala Dinner on the evening of Friday 15 June 2012 in Durban.

Among further Guests were Sony South Africa, who also attended the event on the Sunday.

Grindrod Durban: Making a difference at King Shaka High School Project

Grindrod Durban - Upliftment programme at King Shaka High School, Umlazi Township.

eAfrica Tours was proud to provide the transport and bus hire service to Grindrod in Durban for their trip to the King Shaka High School this past week. 

Through the association with Adopt-a-School Foundation (AAS), Grindrod has been involved in the upliftment of King Shaka High School in Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal, who was also instrumental in the develeopment of a new computer laboratory at the school, which was built for the school in 2009.

Approximately 24 Delegates were transferred from the Durban Grindrod office to the King Shaka High School for a time of kind assistance and further educational and social welfare upliftment.
